Over the course of my last semester at Wright State University, I was challenged with the task of creating a ten-minute final performance piece for my one-person show (OPS) class. During the semester, my classmates and I developed our shows through various writing exercises and brainstorming sessions. My OPS, entitled Nearer My God To Thee, takes a literal "look behind the curtain" at what happens when a former Catholic-school-sweetheart impulsively goes to confession for the first time in eight years.
